Booking & Availability
How far in advance should I book?
It all depends on availability — the best thing to do is always reach out and ask! For weddings and quinceañeras, booking further in advance (ideally several months) gives you the best chance of securing your exact date. For portrait, maternity, and event sessions, lead time is much more flexible — sometimes we can fit you in the next day or even the same week. If your original photographer fell through or your plans changed last minute, don't hesitate to call or message us. We'll do our best to make it work.
Do you travel outside of Houston?
Yes! We serve the entire Greater Houston area including Katy, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Cypress, Pearland, League City, and Galveston. For sessions more than 50 miles from central Houston, a travel fee may apply. Contact us with your location for a custom quote.
How do I officially secure my date?
To confirm your booking, we require a signed contract and a 50% retainer payment. Your date is not held until both are completed. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your session or event. We accept credit/debit cards, Zelle, and Venmo.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We understand that photography is an investment. We offer flexible payment plans that let you spread the cost over time leading up to your event. We also accept Klarna and Afterpay so you can split your purchase into interest-free installments. Mention it when you fill out the contact form and we'll find a plan that works for your budget.
Your Photos & Deliverables
How many edited photos will I receive?
The number of edited photos depends on the package you have chosen — each package includes a set amount detailed in its description. Need more? Additional edited photos can be added to any package at an extra cost — just ask us when booking. We never rush the editing process — every delivered photo is carefully curated and professionally retouched.
How long until I receive my photos?
Wedding and quinceañera galleries are delivered within 3–4 weeks. Portrait, maternity, food, and event sessions are typically ready in 1–2 weeks. You'll also receive a sneak peek of 5–10 favorite images within 48–72 hours of your session so you're not waiting long to share the excitement.
How are my photos delivered?
All photos are delivered via a private, password-protected online gallery. From the gallery you can view, download full-resolution files, share with family and friends, and order professional prints. Gallery access stays active for 12 months after delivery.
Can I print the photos I receive?
Absolutely. Every package includes a full print release, which gives you the legal right to print your photos at any professional lab — Walmart, Costco, Walgreens, local print shops, or specialty labs like Artifact Uprising. We also offer custom albums and canvas prints through our studio if you'd like a premium product.
The Day Of
What should I wear to my portrait session?
We recommend solid colors and avoiding busy patterns or large logos — they distract from your face and expression. Earth tones, pastels, and neutral colors photograph beautifully at Houston's outdoor locations. For family sessions, choose 2–3 complementary colors rather than perfectly matching outfits. After you book, we send a detailed style guide tailored to your session type and location.
What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor session?
Weather happens! For portrait, maternity, and food sessions, we offer one complimentary reschedule at no extra charge if weather is a concern. We'll monitor the forecast together and make the call at least 24 hours ahead. For weddings and events, we adapt and photograph the best version of the day — some of the most beautiful images come from overcast or rainy days.
Do you bring backup equipment?
Always. We shoot with professional-grade camera systems and every session is recorded to dual memory cards simultaneously — so if one card fails, your photos are safe on the second. A backup camera body and key lenses are always on-site. Your memories are never at risk.
Service-Specific Questions
When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
The sweet spot is 28–34 weeks of pregnancy (7–8 months). At this stage, your bump is beautifully full and visible, yet you're still comfortable enough to move naturally and enjoy the session. If you're expecting multiples, we suggest scheduling a bit earlier around 26–30 weeks. Don't wait too long — contact us as soon as you're ready!
What is a pre-quinceañera session?
A pre-quinceañera session is a dedicated portrait shoot held 2–6 weeks before the celebration. It's a relaxed, one-on-one session — usually in her quinceañera dress — at a scenic outdoor location or studio. These images are perfect for invitations, photo displays, centerpieces, and social media announcements before the big day.
Do you cover both the ceremony and reception at weddings?
Yes! Our Gold and Platinum packages include full-day coverage — from getting-ready moments through the last dance. The Silver package covers 4 hours, which can be focused on the ceremony and key reception moments. Before your wedding, we work with you to build a detailed photography timeline so nothing important is missed.
Do you work with a second photographer for large events?
Yes. Our Gold and Platinum wedding packages include a second shooter for multi-angle, simultaneous coverage — so we capture the groom's expression while also getting the bride's walk down the aisle. For quinceañeras, corporate events, and large parties, additional photographers can be added to any package. Just let us know your needs when you reach out.
